So, I think that it's finally time for this couple to finally get the recognition and love that they deserve because they were truly the best couple on the show and every moment and every kiss that they share is magical and so full of feeling and love. Every moment between them makes my heart melt and I just wish that they had longer than the show gave them because there was honestly no perfectly good reason to kill off Robin Hood, but I will get more into that later on.
This article is a list of my top '23' Robin and Regina moments which I did try and put them into order but I just couldn't decide because they are all so beautiful and amazing, So instead I put them into time order, like a timeline of my favorite '23' moments. Not all of my favourites are here but most of them are and pretty much all of their kisses made it into this list of course!! So let's start with the first moment;
First meeting (Storybrooke) - 3x15

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
This scene wasn't their first meeting as that happened in the Enchanted Forest, but I prefer this one because it's the real Robin and Regina and not Regina trying to act strongly through the Evil Queen. I believe that this is where their story started and that Storybrooke was where they started falling for each other. I did love when they first met, but I have to say that my favourite part was when they then went into Zelena's farmhouse and they were looking for things to lead them to the Wicked Witch and all of the tension was building up and they just couldn't keep their eyes off of each other. After Regina saw Robin's lion tattoo, she ran out of the house and left Robin behind, leaving him looking heartbroken. I think that this was the best way that they could have had their first meeting and I just love how much chemistry is between them and how it basically love at first sight.
The letter - 3x16

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
In this scene, Regina is alone in the forest looking over a letter which she has kept for so many years and Robin finds her and goes over and reads her letter. She explains that she has looked at that letter over a hundred times and it always gave her the strength that she needed in the past, but until she realized that the letter was never about her, it was about Zelena. Robin tries to comfort her, and it does kind of calm her but shes still worried about her fight with Zelena later on. I like this scene because it's the first real conversation that they have and the best part is when he is reading the letter and he reads the end when it says "stunning in every way", he looks her and you can see that in his face he agrees with the letter before he knows that the letter is actually about Zelena.
First kiss - 3x18

Personally, I think that their first kiss is their best kiss. The way that she says nothing and her eyes say everything, the way she just lets him talk for a bit but then can't wait any longer and just grabs his jacket and pulls him into a very passionate kiss where all of her emotions that she has been holding in since she first met him are coming out. I love the way that when they separate and the look in both of their eyes are like "oh my god, this feels so right" and then they crash their lips together again, and Robin brings his hand up and pushes her hair away from her face. I could talk about this scene for hours because it is one of my top favourites and it's just so amazing and perfect and you can tell that they are just lost in the moment and in time. From him, you can tell that it's what he's wanted to do since the moment he first met her and you can see that in previous scenes leading up to this precious moment. The scene before this in this episode was Snow giving Regina a 'hope speech' and inspiring her to go after what she wants and get the happiness that she deserves and this is when she decides to finally do that and this is when she goes to grab her Robin Hood.

Hallway at Granny's - 3x19

I love this scene because it's just so sweet and innocent, they remind me of school kids making out underneath the stairs. They are just so in the moment and you can tell that they have wanted to do this since the moment that they met and although Regina didn't have her heart then, she still has feelings for him and those feelings would only grow deeper when she gets her heart back. The way that they look at each other melts my heart because their eyes are just so full of love and lust and they just want to stay in that moment forever. When Henry walks in and sees them, Regina practically jumps in the air and spins around and Robin just looks up in annoyance because Henry just turned up and ruined the mood. After Henry walks away Regina is really upset but Robin refuses to see her like that so he grabs her arms and pulls her in for another kiss and this is just so sweet, he only wants to see her smile and having her walk away from him otherwise is just not happening so he makes her smile yet again and she walks into where everyone is all loved up and 'smitten' as Snow calls her.
By the fire - 3x21

Image screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
I love this scene because it's after Zelena has been caught and locked up, Regina has her heart back and things are going well. They just spend some time alone together just talking and telling each other about their pasts and Regina tells him that her true love is him, the man with the lion tattoo. This scene is just so perfect because it's so intimate and it's just them and no one around to steal it away because this moment in time is theirs. They are just so full of love and hope for each other and it's just so lovely to finally see Regina start to get her happy ending, this is of course before everything goes downhill and Emma decides to bring back Robin's dead wife from the past.
Outside Granny's - 3x22

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
This scene is short and nothing is said, but you can see that everything that they want to say is said in their eyes and the way that they look at each other. I love how they literally cannot keep their hands off of each other and they just love being with each other. From this, you can see that not even a dead wife come back or a wicked sister can ever tear them apart because the love that they have for each other is strong and true.
"I'm in love with someone else." - 4x03

Image screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
I love this scene because I just think that it's so underrated and people don't realise that this is basically one of their 'I love you' moments and it's really heartbreaking because you can see how much they love each other and want to be together and it's killing Robin that he has to stay with his wife because of his code and he wants to keep his honour. It heartbreaks Regina when he says this and then he says that he has to stay with Marian because he made a vow to her. It upsets me because I still don't get why they had to bring Marian back and ruin what they had because it was going to well and Regina was finally starting to have hope again and believing that she could have love and have a happy ending.
The vault scene - 4x07 & 4x08

Image screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
I wanted to talk about the first part of the vault scene first (4x07). I love this scene because just before Robin had been talking to Will and he told Robin that he should go and get the one he loves because if you are willing to ruin your entire life to be with someone, it's always worth it. So, slightly drunk Robin goes over to Regina's vault and explains that he has a code to live by and he doesn't want to break his own rules, except for that moment. He goes to her and pulls her into a very passionate and needed kiss. You can tell from the way that they both put so much feeling and passion into it that they have missed each other so much and that they still love each other even after Robin's dead wife returns. You can see from their arms that they are holding onto each other so tight and they never want to let go and this with their passionate kissing is so unbelievably heart melting.

I also wanted to talk about the second part of the vault scene (4x08). I want to talk about both parts separately because they are different episodes and its the night and then the morning after but they both take up one place because they are basically the same scene. Now, I love this scene and it has to be one of my top favorites because it's just one of the sweetest, most flirty scenes and I just love to watch them in this because they are just so in love. The way that they literally cannot keep their hands off of each other and kissing each other. They love staring into each other's eyes and you can see the love and lust there and that they are just lost in their own moment in time. And the best part is at the end when Regina says that it can't happen again, but Robin finds a loophole and they are back in their little love bubble all alone.
Library and Page 23 - 4x09

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
This scene is just so cute because Robin stole the book from Regina so that he could get Will's help to get Regina her happy ending. He didn't have to do this but he wants to help her so that she can be happy, hopefully with him. He finds Page 23 and he automatically calls Regina and gets her to drop what she's doing to meet him and see what he's found. When she gets there and Robin shows her the page, she is so shocked and cannot believe what she's looking at. First of all, she thinks it's just a missing page from the book, but it turns out that it wasn't from that book or any other book and it just appeared magically in Robin's bag. It makes us remember what Snow said about hope and Regina says that she owes someone a quarter, Robin is confused but they both smile and kiss each other and it is full of love and deep with feeling and I just love this so much because Regina has hope again and starts to believe that she can have her happy ending with Robin again.
Before Shattered Sight - 4x10

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
This scene is one of the best because its the way that he's the first person, after Henry, that she thinks about and worries will be hurt by her when the spell hits. She says how he and Henry are the only ones who truly believe in her and to have him look at her the way people did when she was the Evil Queen would break her heart and would absolutely kill her. I love this because the way that they look into each other's eyes full of love and the way that reassures her that everything is going to be okay and gives her a kiss to calm her and comfort her.
Park bench with Page 23 - 4x12

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
I love this scene because it was when Robin finally admitted to Regina that he wanted to be with her and not Marian, he wants to show that he still loves her and that he will get over his thing about being with someone because of his honour and that he should show his son to not do things because they may be right and you will be miserable, do things because you follow your heart and it makes you happy. They are both so smitten and in love and when Robin gets page 23 out of his pocket and shows her it and they both smile, at that moment everything is perfect. But it all changes when Roland calls Robin and when they both look Marian has collapsed and Regina tells him that the only way that she will survive is to cross the town line into a land without magic with him and Roland and when they leave there's no returning. I have no idea why Regina had done this!! She could have said that there was nothing else that she could do and Marian could die and she could have Robin back with her for good, but the writers had to ruin this amazing couple for us again and Regina had to tell them to leave Storybrooke. It's heartbreaking and Regina doesn't deserve to have her happy ending ripped away from her again. It annoys me so much because they were just talking about how they would make it work and then the writers ruin it again.
Town Line/Robin leaves Storybrooke - 4x12

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
This scene is the second most heartbreaking Robin and Regina scene ever, (probably in the whole show, but that's my opinion). Obviously the first most heartbreaking is Robin's death. Anyway, I love and hate this scene. I hate it because Robin and Regina have been torn apart again and I think that after everything Regina has gone through, she deserves her happy ending with Robin Hood and for the writers to rip that away again doesn't end up meeting what they describe the show to be, 'a family show about hope', well you might want to rethink that again Adam and Eddie!! But, I also love this scene because Robin doesn't really care that his wife and child are on the other side of the town line, he just has to have one last kiss with the woman he loves most to let her know how much he loves her and how hard it is for him to leave her behind. I wish that they just sent Marian over on her own and Robin and Roland stay in Storybrooke and get their happily ever after, this way Zelena wouldn't get pregnant, she wouldn't bring Hades to Storybrooke from Hell and Robin would have never have died. If Emma never brought Marian back from the past and Regina would be happy with Robin and they would be living a long happy life together hopefully married!
The other thing that annoys me is how confused poor little Roland must be, first of all, his mother dies and he eventually moves on, his father falls in love again with Regina and it's like another mother to him, but then his dead mother returns, but she turns out to actually be dead still and it's his father's new girlfriend's sister ends up being disguised as your mother and to make things even worse, if that's even possible, you father's girlfriend's sister got pregnant while disguised as your mother and now you have a sister. Now, I'm not an expert or anything, but that's messed up and something that no child should have to go through and for this to be a family show this is a lot of drama for a child should have to deal with.
Regina's dream - 4x16

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
The fact that Regina had a dream about Robin coming back to her was the cutest thing, it shows how much she loves him and wants him back in her life. At first, she is just walking along looking at page 23 and hoping he was with her and then he comes running towards her and they both have the biggest smiles on their faces and are so happy to be reunited, but then Regina has a feeling that someone is watching and when she turns around she sees the Evil Queen walking towards them with a fireball which she throws at them shouting "Get away from him!" and then Regina wakes up in Gold's cabin with Mal on the opposite side of the room. Later on, she talks to Snow about her dream, she says that the Evil Queen was protecting Robin from something, and you see that later on, it foreshadowed the future and the danger Robin was in was that Marian was really Zelena in a disguise. This scene is sweet because it's the first time we have seen them together in a few episodes, but it was annying that it was only a dream.
Reunited in New York - 4x19

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
Finally!! They are reunited and all is good again, well, Robin finds out that Marian is actually Zelena, but all seems okay because they have stopped Zelena and Robin and Regina are back together. But, there is one small minor issue... ZELENA IS PREGNANT!! WTF?! I give up all hope on this show. How did they think that it would ever be a good idea to add to this huge plot twist?! Yet another thing to add to poor little Rolands already messed up family tree and Regina's life is yet again screwed because her sister has something that she has always wanted with him but she can't give him. This is really messed up and practically takes away all hope that Regina ever had of things going back to normal with Robin, now there is this child between them.
Bar in New York - 4x20

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
This scene is basically carrying on from the last one and it's Robin and Regina come away from the others. They go to a bar in New York and discuss what's going to happen next. I like this scene because it's really the only scene that we have had where they just talk about how they are going to sort things out and move on into the future. It's the real in-depth conversation about the future that we have seen them have and this gives us hope that they will find a way through this bump in the road and they will be together and will overcome these struggles together. I think this helps people because they can see that no matter what comes between you and the person you love you can always overcome it, even if your sister disguises as your true loves dead wife and gets pregnant by him. This obviously wasn't the easiest conversation for them to have but it shows that together they can work through any problem that comes their way together and come out of it stronger than ever.
"Robin's just a part of that world" - 4x21

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
In this scene, Regina at firsts tells the author that she wants him to write Zelena out of the story, but when Zelena compares Regina to their mother, Regina changes her mind and when Robin turns up at Zelena's cell she admits that she just wants to move on with her happy ending and that she doesn't want the author writing anything because she has everything she wants and that she needs. Robin and Regina share a kiss but are broken apart when the author disappears and leaves the sheet of paper behind which tells them that he disappeared and went to Mr. Gold. I like this scene because it's when Robin and Regina have finally worked their way around the issues that they have come across and are back together in their own little bubble of happiness once again.
Taven in an Alternate Reality - 4x22

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
This scene is set in Isaac's Heroes and Villains book. Robin and Regina don't know each other and Robin rescues her after she robs one of Snow White's royal tax carriages which Snow happened to be aboard. They go to a tavern where Robin wraps up her hand with a bandage. He offers her a place as the leader of the merry men as he is retiring. He says about gazing into someone's eyes who you know you belong with and she begins to believe that her person is him, until he announces that he has found someone and they will be married later that day, then his bride-to-be walks in, it's Zelena. Regina begins to feel uncomfortable and when Robin offers her another drink she says she has to leave to get away from Snow White. She leaves Robin and Zelena in the tavern in each others arms, she looks so heartbroken.
Walk in the moonlight? - 4x23

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
In this scene, Robin meets Regina and Henry in Granny's, who are reading the Storybook. He asks how Zelena is and Regina responds "Still locked up. Still pregnant.", trying to hold in her annoyance and anger, but then follows with that they will get through it together. He then says that Roland is with one of the Merry Men and asks her if he could take her for a walk in the moonlight. She responds with a smile and a "Perhaps." and then they both get up and walk out of the diner. I wish that we could have gone on this walk with them to see what they would talk about, but I'm sure there are some fanfictions of what happened at that moment so the scene is not totally forgotten about.
Dance in Camelot - 5x02

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
In this scene, Robin and Regina are sharing a dance at a ball in Camelot. The song 'Only You' by Yazoo is playing over the scene and it shows all of the couples there; Snow and Charming, Emma and Hook, and Robin and Regina. They are dancing around and they stop dancing to share a kiss. When they part they realize that everyone is still dancing and they both try and catch up with everyone else and they laugh and carry on dancing. I like this scene because its just so silly and cute, they are finally happy as they deserve to be, well at least for a few more moments...
Robin almost dies twice - 5x02

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
The first time Robin almost died was at the ball in Camelot. When he comes to the end of his dance with Regina, a knight who previously have Regina a necklace asked if he could dance with her and they dance and they talk and she finds out that she had done something to him when he was a child and he acts on that and tries to kill her but Robin runs in the way and ends up getting stabbed. They carry him into another room and Regina tries to heal him but because the sword that stabbed Robin was enchanted to hurt Regina she was unable to heal him and the only one who could help him was Emma. After debating whether to do it or not, she eventually does it and saves his life. This was really heartbreaking to watch because Regina looked so heartbroken and devastated that she almost lost her true love.

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK
The second time Robin almost dies is back in Storybrooke when previously he was dragged away by a Wrath. It's when Regina, Snow, Charming, Leroy/Grumpy and Arthur go and stop the Wrath from taking Robin down to the Underworld by Regina giving her life instead of letting Robin die and this is when the rest of them run over and join hands with Regina to overthrow the Wrath. When it is defeated she runs over to an unconscious Robin and pulls him into her arms and he becomes conscious and they share a kiss. I think that it was hard enough to watch Robin almost die once, but twice in one episode was heartbreaking. I love this episode because it's mostly Robin and Regina centered, but I hate it because Robin almost dies twice and that's not something that Regina should have to live through twice, three times if you count Robin's death at the end of the season.
