"I'm with you always" - 5x21

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK

Just before this scene when Robin and Regina both went into the tunnels underneath the Storybrooke town hall so that they could sneak into the Mayor's office and get Robin's daughter back. At first, when they get down there they have an argument and Regina is just trying to say that she tried to give Zelena a second chance but Robin says that she doesn't really deserve it and goes off. Later on, Regina apologizes and Robin says that everyone deserves a second chance and that she is what he sees his future to be, they kiss and carry on sneaking into the town hall.

Robin's death/funeral - 5x21

This scene is the absolute saddest Robin and Regina scene throughout the whole series. In this scene, Robin and Regina have snuck into the Mayor's office to get Robin's daughter from Hades and Zelena, but Hades caught them, threatened them with a deadly crystal. He aimed to kill Regina first but Robin jumped in the way and died to save Regina's life. After this Regina is speechless, she has just lost love AGAIN, she has watched the love of her life fall to the floor and see his soul disappear into the air and into nothing. I don't see why they had to kill off Robin because Regina had finally found someone who loves her and he had said shortly before that he does see her in his future, but now he's dead and she's left alone once again while the people around her are in their happy relationships and have their own families and now she left alone again. Also, another thing that Roland left me so annoyed about is that Roland is now left without a mother and a father. Now, I have spoken about this in another article so click here to see that, but it's just so sad that Roland is left an orphan and Regina is left a widow. Personally, I think that Roland should have stayed with Regina and she should have brought him up herself.

This scene is so sad because it's the people of Storybrooke giving Robin a final send-off and in his honor, they lay arrows which have a rose wrapped around them onto the top of his coffin. The most heartbreaking people to watch do this were Henry, Roland and of course, Regina. This was hard to watch because not only did we watch Robin die then his funeral, they were in the same episode and this literally made me cry the whole way through.

What was also really upsetting about it was after everyone laid the rose wrapped arrows onto Robin's coffin, people start to leave and they leave Regina and Zelena, who is holding her and Robin's baby, are left looking at Robin's coffin and Regina says that he never even got to name his own child before he dies. There is a moment of silence before Zelena says that the perfect name for their daughter is Robin. Regina agrees and this is what the child's name ends up being. I like that they named the baby after her dead father, especially because in season 7 you see that she ends up being more like her father than her mother and this must be so upsetting, but also happy for Regina to watch because she misses Robin so much but she can always see him in his daughter.

The one thing that really frustrates me about this scene is that after Regina and Zelena leaves and Emma and Snow are talking about poor sad Emma, like wtf?! Snow says to Emma that she needs to stop thinking that it's her fault that Robin died, even though Emma was the one who basically made everyone feel guilty when she lost Hook and basically dragged them all down to Hell which resulted in HAdes coming to Storybrooke and him eventually killing Robin and almost killing Regina. It's Robin's funeral and you're still going on about Hook?! And after Snow leaves and Emma is crying, there is a wave of magic and Hook appears behind her. He is brought back to life after helping to defeat Hades, but WTF?! So it's okay for Hook to die cause you can bring him straight back but you have to make it as if Robin can never come back and there is no hope for him ever returning in a show that people come back to life all of the time?! But why?! This is the most frustrating thing ever and the fact that they do it where Robin is being buried annoys me more than ever. and yes I know that they are just characters in a tv show and I might at times get into it way more than what's normal, but it's still disrespectful to bring Hook back at where Robin is being buried and can never be brought back because his soul was obliterated, it just still makes me mad 2 years later.

Now, I wasn't going to say anything about this scene but I thought it linked with the other 2 scenes so I just put them all into the same part as they are all continuing on from each other. In this scene, it's Robin's wake after his funeral and it's held at Granny's. The Merry Men are toasting to Robin's photo and Regina is sitting in a booth on her own grieving the loss of the love of her life and her true love and soulmate. Snow and Charming go to her and ask if she's okay and if she needs anything then she can talk to them, and then annoyingly Zelena walks in trying to make it about herself and says that they have each other, Charming them looks at Zelena and says that he's sorry that it must have been hard for her too because she lost Hades, but it's the smug look she gives after that really annoys me because you can just tell that she loves the attention and she likes people giving her sympathy. After Snow and Charming walk away Emma walks into Granny's and says that she needs to talk to Regina about a delicate thing, but before she can tell Regina what it is there is a bang and a shaking of the ground and Hook bursts through the door of Granny's and the look on Regina's face when she sees that he is alive is absolutely heartbreaking. The part that annoys me most is of course when they all question how Hook is back and when Emma says that now he's returned and with that, she gives a smug smile basically saying 'haha my boyfriends come back to life and your's is still dead', and this annoys me  because Regina just lost her true love and to basically shove in her face that Regina will never have her true love again and she is alone.

Regina sees Robin again/ Final ever Outlaw Queen Scene - 7x22

Images were sent to me from a friend on Twitter: @simplymaterial

This scene is the very last ever Robin and Regina scene and it really pulls at your heartstrings. It starts off with Regina appearing in a Tavern and it suddenly clears out, she hears the fire light up and turns to look at it. She looks at the fire for a while before hearing a voice behind her which is Robin's, as she turns she is shocked to see him standing opposite her. She is speechless, so shocked to see that the love of her life who is dead is standing right in front of her. In her disbelief, she says that she thought he was gone and he responds that he is but he will always be in her heart and places his hand on her chest, and this is where the emotions ran high. And with that, she takes his hand in hers and brings it up and rests her chin on his hand, and tells him how much she has missed him.  She then explains that she could be with him soon because her son wants to kill her, he releases his hand from hers and walks around the table and sits next to her and she twists around to face him. He says that he once saw her as a villain when they first met but he saw the good in her. He says that she live shows others that no matter how many terrible things you have done in your past you can always redeem yourself and move into the light. Regina says that it's not fair and that their story was way too short, (agreed!!) and Robin says that 'It doesn't make it any less epic.' and with that, they have their final kiss. When they part Robin puts something in Regina's hand and when she waked up on the floor of a dungeon she sees that he left a feather in her hand where Henry did cut her previously with his sword.

Bonus Scenes!!

Wow! Okay so that was my top 23 Robina and Regina moments all in chronological order and that was a whole emotional rollercoaster, but now here are some scenes that I also love but didn't quite make it into my top 23 list.

Regina gives Robin her heart - 3x16

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK

In this scene, Regina goes back to Robin in the forest after her fight with Zelena where we find out that she took out her heart and gave it to Roin to hide in the forest and for him to keep safe so that Zelena can't get it. She tells him that Zelena was right that she doesn't always realize what she has and doesn't always appreciate things. She then asks Robin to look after her heart for a bit longer as she trusts him with her heart. She then walks away, Robin says that she owes him a drink and then they are apart. I think that Regina literally giving her heart to Robin was her way of showing him her feelings that she feels for him without actually saying anything to him. The way that they are with each other up to this point is just so flirtatious and just basically trying to figure out what they feel for each other at this point.

'You won't die alone' - 4x23

Images screenshotted myself from Netflix UK

This scene is in the AU that Isacc and Rumple made up and made it that Villains were the ones who got their happy endings. In this scene, Regina is about to crash Robin's wedding to Zelena and she slightly opens the door and catches his eye, but before she can go in she runs back out and jumps in the way before Rumple can get Henry with his sword and she gets hit instead. Then the bells ring and the wedding party leaves the church. When Robin sees Regina lying on the ground dying he runs over to her and falls to her side and says that she will be okay, she denies and then he promises that at last, she will not die alone. After this Henry discovers he is the next author and writes everything back to the way it was, saving Regina's life. This scene is so sweet because even though they think that they don't know each other, the feelings are still there deep down and they just have to find them again and make them resurface.

And that's it! That's the end of my top 23 Robin and Regina moments ever!! Do you agree with my list? What scenes did I miss that are really important? Let me know in the comments below!
