After reading all of the different theories I had no idea which theory was true and what one is really going to happen. I do have some theories of my own that I want to share because I really believe that these are some strong possibilities. I will list them below for you:

 

1.   Robin will appear to Regina in a dream. I have a feeling that this will happen and be similar to the one Regina had in season 4 after Robin left with Marian. This would be the worst thing that they could do because this just gives her false hope and it makes us think that he is really back, but really it's a ridiculous dream that makes no sense and won't change anything.

2. Another theory that I have is that somehow Robin will be brought back to life. This at first seemed like it was possible because this show brought Hook back from the Underworld, so surely they could say that Hades was bluffing and it never destroyed his soul, it just killed him. So by doing this, it would make it easier to bring him back so that he can be with Regina, but we all know that in reality Adam and Eddie don't really care and are only really bringing back Robin to shut the fans up and attempt to make them the slightest bit happier.
3. Now, going back to the last theory, Rumple wants to die so that he can be with Belle in the afterlife, so maybe he switches places with Robin so that both Rumple and Belle can be reunited and so can Robin and Regina. This one is definitely possible because, in reality, this show is capable of anything. But, when it comes to Robin and Regina they are incapable of coming up with another way to get them their happy ending and this really frustrates me.

4. The last theory that I have is that Regina dies and meets Robin in the afterlife. I think that if they can't bring Robin back then this would be the next best thing because this way they would be back together and they can finally get the happy ending that they deserve. 

 

Now, when I first found out that Robin was returning for the finale, I come up with the perfect ending for Robin and Regina. I know that it will not happen but it gave me hope for something good, possibly something similar?

 

I was thinking that maybe because the recent cures was a time travel curse and when it is broken, Regina, Henry, Rumple, and Hook go back to the future. Henry and Jacinda reunite, Rumple dies somehow and reunites with Belle, and Hook reunites with his daughter Alice, maybe Regina takes the looking glass and goes back to when Regina and Robin have just sneaked into the mayor's office and got caught by Hades. He is threatening them with the crystal and that's when she goes in and kills him. The only thing that is different about the future is that Robin is thereby Regina's side.

 

There is a possibility that they could make this happen because anything is possible on this show, but they just honestly don't care about Regina or her true happy ending and they just let her go around on her own now that all of her family are married and moving on. This frustrates me in ways that I cannot explain and for once I just wish that they have done something good with them. They brought Hook back from Hell and now he's married and got a baby on the way for god sake!! Why couldn't Robin come back so that he and Regina can have their happy ending too?! I just don't seem to understand some people...

 

In reality, at first when they screwed them up and made Zelena pregnant with Robin's baby our hopes were too high and then Robin and Outlaw Queen had hardly any screen time, then they killed Robin off, tried to bring Robin back through the Wish Realm Robin, that that backfired because he ended up with The Evil Queen. Some people had lowered their expectations and accepted that this was the best that they were going to get, but most of us knew that this wasn't the end and there was still more they could do to get Robin and Regina back together. When it was announced in February that season 7 would be the last ever season, Outlaw Queen fans were going mad and tweeting constantly to try and get Robin back before the season finished. people had petitions, voting, twitter rants and all sorts going so that they could get the writer's attention, and in March it was announced that Sean Maguire would be returning to play Robin Hood in the finale for one last time before the season finished.
