So, I'm speechless, I'm literally writing this article moments after watching the finale and I am shocked for words. I was going to jump straight into the cliffhanger at the end of the episode but I think that it will be easier to explain my thoughts and opinions on the moments leading up to this and also, of course, Jane and Rafael.

Jane and Rafael, a couple I have always loved and supported since the beginning. I have always wanted them together but Michael got in the way, but when Michael died I always knew that their feelings for each other would resurface and they would find their way back to each other, which they did in season 4 episode 8 "Chapter Seventy Two". They take things slow until they decide to move in together, but when it starts getting cramped they decide that they need to look for a new place together in episode 15 and 16. All is going really well and in episode 17, Rafael announces to Jane's family that he is going to propose. I was so excited for this, I just think that they have both gone through so much apart and together and they always ended up back together. That night Jane goes to meet Rafael at his apartment and when she gets there he acts strangely and doesn't let her in, he then tells her to leave and shuts the door on him.  She does begin to walk back down the hallway, but then she turns back, knocks on his door and demands that she is to be let in. Before he lets her in, he admits that the phone call that he had previously received was from Rose and it wasn't about his parents, he then opens the door and she walks in and standing next to their best is Michael!! Like WTF?! Why isn't he dead?! I'm still speechless and it's been about 2 hours after I have watched the episode. He faked his death, left Jane and Mataeo thinking he was dead and left them to grieve, and now after about 3 ish years of him being supposedly dead Jane is finally moving on with Rafael, but now he has decided to show up just as things were going well, just before they are about to get engaged!! Agrhhhh!!!

Anyway, I guess that we will just have to wait until season 5 to see what is going to happen. It  has been rumored to start airing in the USA in Fall 2018.
